Thanks so much for this drawn tour of this part of northern Portugal. Your pages, this one and the others in this series, are excellent & so interesting. I spent some time around Barcelos before the Symposium, but did not go beyond Ponte de Lima. So you’ve given me a glimpse of what was further north.
Thank you Marcia. Serra d’Arga is not very far from Ponte de Lima… It’s a village with (more or less) 170 people living there with ages between 50 and 70. Very beautiful, very rural and you are about 800 meters high so you can see a lot of land from there! Including the sea… These drawing are part of a study to document their material and immaterial patrimony.
