On my way to Açores. Usk Açores kindly invited me to go there to give a workshop and spend some days with them and other portuguese urban sketchers. It was amazing and I will post the drawings here in the next few days. These ones were made at the Oporto’s Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro.

Como parte do programa 10×10 OPORTO, no próximo sábado, dia 4 de Novembro, irei dar um workshop sobre linha e expressão no Porto. Neste workshop os formandos irão entrar num processo exploratório sobre forma como a linha se pode assumir como elemento expressivo dominante no desenho. Serão apresentadas diferentes técnicas em que cada formando poderá experienciar diferentes expressões consoante não só aquilo que vê mas, principalmente, como vê.

As part of the 10×10 OPORTO program, next saturday, 4th Nov, I will give a workshop about Line and Expression in Porto. In this workshop the students will enter an exploratory process about the way in which the line can be the dominant expressive element in the drawing. Different techniques will be presented in which each student will be able to experiment different expressions according not only what is being seen but also how it it being seen.
